As expected this would be the “free” short story of the collection.
I found the tale interesting, as it brought greater depth to Alleria, Arator and Turalyon. It’s always great to know what the characters are doing when they’re not fighting or completing missions.
What drew my attention was them trying to bring up Arator’s romantic life. Did Turalyon accuse him of having a crush on the “Breezeblossom twins?” The word “dalliance” was also used. Alleria asked him if she had a “special someone.”
Edit: Alleria asked him about the twins too.
I think Faerin might be Arathor’s love interest. Not Anduin’s.
Also the fact that they are really highlighting how Silvermoon is being rebuilt is no doubt to get players thinking about Midnight and paint a mental picture of what a fully restored Silvermoon could look like
I got that as well. Silvermoon is being rebuilt and honestly good for them. Perhaps they bring the kingdom out of TBC hell finally
Damn Alleria look super derpy on this picture. What a massive downgrade. And I thought that 3 sisters comic was awful.
In fairness, its been actively rebuilding since TBC. Like, there are actual workers around with scaffolding. So nothing really new there other than perhaps a couple different locations.
Like, they walked all the areas we could walk. So nothing is really new or rebuilt as of yet, or even seems as if they’ve made major progress in the past 30+ years
I like that this short story takes place immediately after the Khadgar cinematic. He gives her a vague mission and she runs off to tell her son to stay out of it.
If he dies in battle, she will give in. We all know it. Midnight in Silvermoon might not be about Xal’atath attacking the North after all…
First of all this is alliance bias.
Second of all I am afraid again they turn Undermine into a raid stealing one more Horde race of it’s capital.
Welp. That’s an oddly specific argument for a neutralish Silvermoon if the current leader of the Alliance gets to bop in whenever he wants.
Still haven’t finished reading.
Turalyon has free access to silvermoon, yeh bois, the times of war are over.
Free access is probably pushing it. He, probably like all dignitaries and state leaders, is allowed to visit and likely with little hassle. He probably can’t stroll in unannounced.
Wasnt too hard to predict this would be your response as well considering both Arator/Turalyon can just go to Silvemoon and hang out there.
Uh…after the fourth war, there has been no open conflict between Horde and Alliance. Diplomacy and foreign affairs can be carried out by heads of state. Turalyon just went there for a meeting with Liadrin (about light shenanigans no doubt) and on his way back stopped by his son’s place for tea and gossip. I see no problem there.
Also, implied Arator lives in Silvermoon and fights for the Silver Hand there, training with the Blood Knights.
To be fair, he was specifically there for a “consultation with Liadrin,” but yes, if Arator can rent a flat there and even the exiled leader of Club Void can visit on Lor’themar’s goodwill, it certainly looks like the trend set with Amirdrassil will continue into Midnight.
I, for one, look forward to riding the Thunderbluff Elevator for an hour straight.
I really want to like Alleria. Sylvanas can’t be the ONLY interesting Windrunner sister. I did enjoy the story though, left a few hints of what to look forward to in TWW and Midnight.
Well he shoul’nt at all. Bob and his regime seems to forgot who was responsible for mot blood elf deaths and gives the alliance way too much room for their claims. Since HE was the one exiling her to begin with.
This is the worst story possible I really really really hate it.
World of Besties.
