when fallout got a netflix series, sales of the game skyrocketed and players came home to play the fallout games on Steam, fallout 4 in particular became one of the top played games on steam at that time

when cyberpunk got the edgerunner series, that fueled a huge resurgence of interest in the game, sales, and people came home to cyberpunk. cyberpunk 2077 became one of the top played games on steam

blizzard, if it’s time to come home to world of warcraft - you know what you need to do. we need a full warcraft anime. preferably centered around the arthas storyline.

Anyways they did the Warcraft movie during WoD? And interest still declined. The movie only broke even thanks to China. It probably scared them off doing another large scale media project.

The budget of an animated show would be considerably smaller than the Warcraft movie while the potential for profit would be bigger.

Thats 800 episodes of a show then.

Nowadays animation studios have so many people working remote from all over the world.

Anime and cartoon means the same thing, but for the sake of making communication easier, anime is often more used for the common artstyle of japanese productions.

To me, “anime” just means “awful story with problematic sexual scenarios”. With few exceptions, ALL anime is bad.
