THATS REMINDS ME. This lady can conjure literal black holes but she shoots lesser infused arrows and throws baby punches when fighting Xalatath.
Its just so bad.

I actually liked that line…
There is no accounting for taste.
i can be fine with that line only because its the one time she does something good. Its just such a shame that she couldnt have been a stronger character that took care of business. Shes an elf with thousands of years of experience hunting untold different horrors across the cosmos and we get an angsty teen boss girl smirking and pouting for the dumbest reasons.
Imagine if she went all Liam Neeson Taken on the nerubians instead of what we got? If her goal was to learn information on Xalatath, especially the McGuffin she used to destroy dalaran, and take out that artifact It would have been a better watch for me. Instead we get this “I was not aiming for you” at the last second like we were all building up to and planned to get rid of it. Subverting my expectations of her failing everytime with a last minute one liner just feels like crappy writing.
If she was in control and took on the burdens like a proper veteran (of multiple wars) instead of running off alone making all sorts of stupid irrational decisions she would be more likable.
a dry fish is kinda doing better than anduin rn
See this actually makes that line and scene even worse for me. It’s so obviously a token W forced in that it does nothing to negate her prior incompetence.
Honestly I don’t know why people aren’t mad at the writers who have to bash the main characters heads a few times before they throw em out into the story.
These are the same writers that made an immortal being living for millennia inside the shadowlands do one of the most dumb actions in the story of plot holes.
They made the dumb truck bonesmith walk into the enemies doorstep with the deus ex machina. Solving the problem of " how can we get this item the enemy needs to become powerful when the main character holds it safely?! "
Solution bash character on wall till he forgets all logic then throw him into the story and make him do the dumbest thing possible.
