Read all that and my take away is please don’t change double tap 
Fps games/fighting games have a massive amount of things happening very quickly that people “react” quickly too. It comes from practice/knowing what to expect/trying to improve
WoW is a game about knowledge. If you know what to expect you can avoid dying a lot of the time. Vs a lot of these specs, there’s not much to think about besides what kill window they have. It’s game states. Either you’re in trouble, or they are. Nothing really happens randomly. Addons like weakauras/omnibar can help you react way quicker.
The thing is it’s a new xpac, tons of new abilities, people haven’t learned much etc. so they’ll get caught off guard. The reason when I fought competent teams on beta and games were actually not really that fast also has to do with when people get gibbed including myself it’s not “omg wtf that’s impossible to react to”, it’s just finding out what the class does and learning their kill window. I don’t think any of the people here are truly incapable of learning how to react to most of the things that are happening.
The ones that are actually troll are like double tap from stealth in a bg, but at least in arenas there is way less of an elenent of a surprise because you know what you’re fighting and what you should expect (still double tap should break stealth just like resonnating arrow).
If you’re prepared and know what you should pay attention to you definitely can so it. I have faith in the majority of people if they had a willingness to learn. I can promise you I don’t have some godlike reaction time either, and I don’t need to.

My only point is we don’t even have rated arena and people are complaining about random bgs where peoples characters have no durability yet
Scariest beta comps weren’t even the “1 shot” comps, it’s all just high sustained pressure comps, mostly melee cleaves. So many specs could have high burst and I’ve gotten gibbed by them all at least once but then it went away once I learned the damage they could do/when, knew what to watch for, then it’s pretty easy to react to.
There’s also super high utility specs with great peeling due to unpruning (warrior) that can prevent people from dying so well that if people actually did far less damage you literally could not get a kill vs war/x, spriest/x, ww/x. These were already the majority of the meta on beta plus some extra melee cleaves, if you just start nerfing every spec that has any damage in a set up the game will be BfA 2.0 lol, I mean if people want that fine. But you literally can’t kill comps w/ high peels without high damage unless people also get high amounts of CC back (which if that happens people will also complain).
I do actually have the patience to teach anyone that wants to learn. We are however, mostly adults. If someone doesn’t want to learn and will instead want to just complain when I don’t just blindly say things and I’m confident in their ability to learn more than they are themselves I’m not going to go that much further out of my way.
I tell people they can do things because I know they can, instead people mostly just want to be super whiny when every spec that can kill them quickly very likely just has something new to worry about/respect. It just happens that the class I’m playing is making people too emotional when there are plenty more specs that could gib you and you’ll notice that happening way more in arenas than in random BGs.
Cannot teach someone who doesn’t want to learn though. I make sarcastic comments in those situations when people are also being petty, not like my attitude still is that people will learn/adjust and not that they’re incapable of learning. Most people have far less confidence in themselves than I do in them regardless of their skill level.
This was actually my exact same point lol. Best comps on beta were the ones with overwhelming sustained damage, not just CD stack fests, for obvious reasons.

My biggest problem is absolutely with MM hunters. They are my priority target now regardless of situation, because the only counter is to kill them before they kill you.
This really makes the most sense.
Currently there’s no counter to it because it’s just bam.
(Obviously skirms but) last night double mm hunter, literally dead in the opener. That’s the silliness. My lowly pw:s and it’s 1.8k absorb did nothing.
I think if you changed dt like that you’d force bad hunters to either improve or switch to the next easy fotm class, since they’d have to work in the burst and not just lol stealth boom you.
Outside of that hopefully they don’t dumpster mm or dam in general, though ww feels the most oppressive and yet no one mentions it because it’s not over populating random bgs. I also play casters, so maybe I’m biased there but they are brutal.
Just gonna say it now:
If you’re upset you’re dying too quickly, you’re awful at the game and always have been. You’ve been propped up by egregiously over powered defensives that are also sometimes passive, and you think it’s normal to just live a CD go by reacting with 1 CD.

Here is a wonderful example of old school pvp, and the reaction time that is even more aggressive than it is now. Get better, play better. It is also infinitely more impressive when you do things like Ground/Tremor/Feign/Reflect when the meta is super fast paced.
Good luck tho to every1 enjoying shadowlands, everything gonna get nerfed before end of S1 and its back to bfa.

I think the only thing I’ve hated fighting as Enhance so far playing turbo in skrims is RMX. Rogues just absolutely mess my day up, and since I can’t use defensives in a stun without blowing my trinket early, I get poop’ed on pretty bad by a rogue and mage drooling at their keyboard because they’re a worse cleave than turbo or TSG.
Every other loss was an error on my end or a team mates we could’ve stopped and done something about.
I mean has always been like this
People forget what glass cannons are like except MM also does next to nothing outside of double tap
It’s not like Destros who could just sit there and do what they want
If you survive double tap you’ll probably kill the majority of hunters extremely quickly and easily
Gotta be honest though while I still think double tap from camo is stupid only a few specs can actually just insta die from double crits
Has to be cloth or leather, and if it’s cloth it has to be a priest w/o shields on themselves or fort, same w/ mage. Rogue/WWs are the only other options, rogue would need to get caught out of stealth
Yea beta arena pace isn’t even close to this, most of my games went to damp or from healers ooming, was kinda like BfA rofl

Cov abilities and trinkets are the only things that should be nerfed right now. Base kits are generally ok. I do 9.5k mind games on the initial hit which is unreasonable.

Just get gud your fault if you cant adapt and get back to high ratings you had in bfa. Stop making the game free. I got my first 2700 in bfa but I’d rather a game like the current meta because it forces me to get gud.

Yeah you die in the cheapshot if 3 minute CD shadowblades is used
The cheapshot is 4 seconds max
When you see that they’re popping every offensive, you use a CD so you don’t die in that go. I’ve done it plenty. If I ever die in a cheapshot it’s me making a mistake, nothing more

Last night playing ele boom hpal everyone on the team had multiple answers to peeling or self defensives to live the rmx or mm hunter rogue goes.
Did it take a second to learn what that was yes. Did we die some goes cuz we played wrong yes.
Was there 0 answers ??? No
Fact is you can play around a lot of what’s happening. People want their answer to completely stopping 3+ burst CDs to be their 1 defensive button.
Welcome to fast paced arena where you sometimes have to throw your entire defensive kit to respond to someone’s entire offensive kit instead of just going “hey I prrsdddddd vitality conduit your fine”

Dillon saying that marks is fine and that we should wait an entire season for changes just proves that the pro players shouldn’t be in charge of tuning. People get way too greedy.
No it’s more so understanding that it’s not really an outlier and already is gonna fall off more than other specs

Fact is most specs have lots of stupid stufff that “should be nerfed”
Its what makes the game fun esp when they have answers.
He’s already stated that double tap should remove camo which is the one outlier that makes it too much.
