All undead are Immortal right?

Going through Shadowlands on my Forsaken don’t really understand why npcs call me a “mortal”. Or anyone who calls me a mortal for that matter

all characters are immortal, how many times have you perma death?

I just chuckle to myself like “If you say so.” Or when they talk about dying I’m like “Been there, done that.”

Maybe Undead still have a soul or something whimsical like that.

Would separate them from the ghouls.

After all i did in Azeroth… all the wuunz, all the turtles… i am a nobody again…

well at least im the Queue walker.

Forsaken are not immortal, they are rotting away. It was a big part of the Forsaken story that they were trying to find a way to stop themselves from rotting and losing their minds.

Haven’t followed very close in a while but as far as I know this was never resolved.

I think undead will eventually break down to dust. If forsaken can be damaged and killed by regular weapons then simple erosion from friction and gravity will eventually destroy their bodies as well

If we go by a quest in TF from Classic WoW, some Forsaken lose their minds eventually.

Or this gem. Where your quest objective is somewhere very far down and it’s way faster to get there by just falling. Soulstone. Fall. Die. Rez.

That HAS to do something to someones psyche after awhile

Because you are still just a mortal soul inside a mortal shell held together with some necromantic duct tape. It is all the same to them.

It’s because undead still deteriorate without maintenance and eventually lose their minds.

At least in the old canon.

Its because blizzard lazy and makes the story generically fit to everyone.
