All Timewalking Events Removed From Calendar?

There are 2 more timewalking events scheduled for 2021 according to Blizzard, in Feb we have Cataclysm then Warlords in March.

After those last 2 events, they have nothing on the calendar.

This is weird, and unhelpful for the people who are trying to earn particular achievements from those events. Im looking at Black Temple runs during the BC event so folks can transmog the warglaives, or mounts only obtainable from specific vendors.

Is there any information about what/why/ or when these will come back? I doubt they intend to remove them permanently.

They still thought people were having too much fun, and they had to fix that.

Not that I have heard.

Who knows, perhaps something is being done post-Blizzconline with regard to rescheduling the events. We can only wait and see.

It’s pretty obvious that after WoD in March, they’ll announce Legion TW at Blizzconline and have it up in April. Hence why it isn’t on the calendar yet.

Timewalking went from a nice revisit with loot.

To an absolute slugfest with loot.

Then finally a slugfest.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were planning to phase it out.

I hope they phase it out, honestly. Or restructure it in some way.

My dream would be for the gear to not “scale down” and instead they’d just make it like how it is leveling from 10-50 with the classic dungeons. You’d go in and the mobs would be 60 if you’re 60, 51 if you’re 51, etc. Yes, it would make it super easy for geared 60s, but I think that would be more fun than what we have now.

I can’t wait for Legion TW. I feel like I haven’t been in those dungeons forever. The saddest part will be they only select a few for the roster everytime. I hope they pick some good ones. :3 :crossed_fingers:

I know some people might not enjoy timewalking but I most definitely do. I recently brought one of my buddies through Cata timewalking I had to sit there and explain mechanics. It was good times. Just cause they hadn’t done them in that long.

I honestly feel like if it’s getting less popular it would be because they have refused to add any new rewards
 in how many years?? I bet it still holds up well tho. Which says something about them.

I used to look forward to timewalking with alts but i think the gear right now is 160 or something and you can crush that with one day of PVP so, might as well just phase it out at this point.

Cata time walking was last week, and I have MoP time walking starts on Feb 16 and WoD on Mar 9 on the calendar Nothing after that.

We’re probably getting Legion TW and that is going to effect the schedule.

My personal top five are Blackrook Hold, Darkheart Thicket, Halls of Valor, Maw of Souls, Arcway, so I hope we get those five plus any couple of others.

Now, a big what if: Legion’s were the first dungeons balanced around M+. What if they got their own set of M+ keys for the week they’re up?

I’m not gonna say which ones I want. I feel like sometimes things are better left unsaid. Just like the community mount. I like some of your choices tho. :slight_smile:

Hmm, I’m not sure if they would do something for keys.

omg i want legion tw so much! other than cata, legion has my favorite non vanilla dungeons. i’d spam the heck out of it on my alts. pls blizz. XD
