All these years

…of keeping extra pages of “Green Hills of Stranglethorn” because they were not grey and might be useful someday.

Then the anniversary rolls around and the quest “Restoring a Grand Tale” pops up and I think I have finally been justified.

But, NO. I was NOT justified.

Frikkin’ Blizzard.

I knew about being able to buy the book, but I didn’t want to. I wanted my hoarding to be validated.

Is that why guests at the event are talking about the pages?

I was lazy, so I went to buy the book straight away.

Wish I’d thought of that.

same till i found the devils inside the tunnels lol

I always thought it would be hilarious if Blizz pulled a Dungeon Siege esque thing where via some crafting method newly released would turn unobtainable gear into like these new end game oriented heirlooms that would scale continuously with you.

But after all the FOMO rage, it would probably only receive hate.

Plus, the Legion legendaries got scrapped to stop the Sargeras sword so that ended that one method

Still, I’d laugh to know that my first sword had some mystical effect. Or some old expansion item would be repurposed again

I have a buddy of mine that saves everything and I call him a hoarder. He tells me he’ll need it someday. And then someday shows up and they give us a way to have it lol
