I got no queue times, the server population is healthy and no I’m not telling you the server so you can come and give me a queue stay in your server overpopulated megaserver crapfest. Blizz please just lock other servers that already have a healthy population before the tryhard annoying zoomers come in and try to ruin mine too. If you transferred to a megaserver and made the population skyrocket and killed your last serer, you deserve what you get.
Name please. Let us be the judge of that.
you can google server populations and make an assessment yourself as to which server you want to be on. It’s what I did when I decided to play wrath classic after skipping classic and BC which I had no interest in. I had no idea for the past two years what sort of a crapfest servers had become and I am very happy I did. OP can cry all day about having queues to get into his server, meanwhile, I will enjoy no queues and play with new friends I made. I have no sympathy for people who actively made this happen by mass transfer. What did they think was going to happen?
That’s what they said during the launch of vanilla classic, now 20 servers are shutdown and gone, including my original server. People’s concern of Blizzard mismanagement is legit.
Yeah thats the counterargument to my argument
You could argue that megaservers have a lower chance of dying, though i dont know evidence to back it up
Compared to retail classic pops have been incredibly unstable
Retail has cross realm grouping, so unless you are doing mythic raiding there is no need to transfer to any specific server.
Atiesh is filled with bots and horrible players. Enjoy
It doesn’t need evidence. That’s like asking for evidence if the sun is bright
yeah they fixed these problems over time with cross realm everything.
I think the biggest difference is that wow classic’s pop is inheritly “fixed.” Unlike say, in actual wotlk where there were plenty of new players coming all the time, in classic new players have really only came at the start of an expansion. So when burnout and drought occur servers can literally die. Also the ease of getting information about server health compared to back then im sure makes a difference. Ultimately the problem is multifaceted and im not sure if there is a solution that works in the spirit of Classic.
Yeah, I was one of those new players that started in the middle of OG WotLK.
I started in the middle of tbc so ditto
Patch 2.1 or smth. Felt a lot like vanilla with two new races really back then, the 2.4 patch was to me always closer to wrath
Reminds me of my old server. “Blackrock is full, gtfo” Good times.
yeah guys, take it from pallysrule. whats to say Blizzard won’t do the exact same thing they did in vanilla and TBC. Trust us bro, this time, blizzard will be different. cmon bro just transfer, bro.
How’s Herod doing?
yeah dude, totally. its the player base that screwed up, not the company that manages the servers, has access to the raw data of MAU per server, can see active trends in real time, no dude. it’s the players fault, totally.
Where in my post did i say anything related to blizzard? all i said was “we can’t” meaning us players not blizzard, although not even blizz will know what will happen in 1 or 2 months time frame down the road none of us are able to see the future. So take it with a grain of salt an play on your mega server or spread the population of them out an play on the other servers where they won’t die out.
Firemaw, an EU mega server dropped half its population thanks to a transfer loophole
Lets hope that doesnt happen to grobb
Yes, in Cattleclysm all servers will be unlocked.
I don’t think it will, not when Grobb is the only RP-PVP server. Many of us are from Emerald Dream on Retail, so that’s easily 10-15 years’ worth of social connections for many of us. Grobb is literally ED 2.0, so we aren’t going anywhere. I doubt Firemaw had that level of establishment.
i was in ravenhold so i know what u mean
