So i did almost all the quests i can find so i can farm gold but i got to thinking. Have i just screwed myself for leveling 25-40?? I mean we need a lot of gold and those quest payouts are sweet. It seems Blizzard gave an incentive to do the quests with such rewards so do you thin they are gonna introduce enough quests to get someone like me back on track to 40?
Just dungeon grind… either now or later…
Best to get to 16-17 grind to 25… then do quests…
Or do the quest till you can’t … and grind out dungeons later

Like 50g or so.
I heard them use the term ‘Catch-up Raid’ for BFD. So there may be XP elements involved there? Maybe even with Battle for Ashenvale?
Not to mention more quests will unlock once you get near lv 30. There’s a lot of quests between 30-40.

its gotta be much more than that! I’ve already scored over 40g and I havent even touched the loch, wetlands, red ridge mnts or the stockcades or any of the dwarf/gnome quests… I was thinking its more like 180g obtianable
It was actually a pretty good amount i just don’t have an exact number. I spend a lot

Highly doubt it. They aren’t putting tons of new quest chains in the game outside of rune gathering.
Those of us who did quests at lvl 25 for gold will just have to farm dungeons till we reach new quests.
Just get some friends together and run Stockades for a few hours the day Phase 2 launches. Easy peasy.

The BFD gear is equivalent to Vanilla Dire Maul items. Grinding and power farming for people who played all content this phase will likely far outperform questing anyway, since it curtails travel time.

Why do you need a lot of gold?
for skills and of course the mount silly! skill/spells are so friggin expensive 20+ and the 100g slow mount and 1,000g speedy mount

But you dont have to do all your quests for that. I have mount gold and I havent done any quests after 25 except a few bfd ones and the christmas quests.

Kill the greench in alterac. Hes a 36 elite so youll need a raid. To free metzen you just have to get close enough to use the powder on him. He is surrounded by 45s though.
