I just logged onto my tailor to make some gear for a low level mage and it seems all tailoring patterns, uncommon and higher, from vanilla onwards say that level 60 is required, including shirts. Can someone else confirm this before I report it as a bug? Thanks.
EDIT: Just checked my other professions and it seems it’s not just tailoring.
I’ve seen other reports of this in the bug report forums. Originally, there was an issue that any character above the level required could not see the level required in the tooltip at all. I am wondering if in their attempts to fix that, they are breaking other things. It sounds like the level required will show your level, so if you are level 45 it will say level 45 required. There were a ton of OTHER tooltip bugs in previous patches in SL, so it seems to not be an easy fix or it’s not a priority at the moment lol.
I noticed this more recent crafted item issue when trying to buy a crafted BOE on the auction house. It filtered properly for my level in the sale interface, but when i got the item it was technically too high for me to equip. I could still equip it, so it seems just the tooltip is problematic, as the backend is filtering it properly for sale. It also did not give me the “this will bind to you” warning and immediately equipped.
