This has happened about four times now. I get disconnected, and when I reconnect my action bars are gone. The default action bar is empty.
So I have to go back to my spell book and reassign all the spells/actions.
Super duper fun times!
I’ve only logged onto one character so far but if this has happened to all of my characters and I have to reassign EVERYTHING I might lose my mind lmao

This happened to me. Disconnects, log outs/logins… all delete the hotbars and wipes them clean. I’ve tried all 3 of my warriors, several other characters, my 2 mains, and they are all fine. I switch specs and switch back to fury, it remembers what spells I have where. But If I log out and back in, deleted. Every time.
ironically this too was the first character I logged into when servers came up. When I DC’d I came back and my hotbar was glitched. I cleared my bags before DC and when I came back I was standing on the roof where I originally started, not at the vender where I cleared bags, and I was off my mount but the mount bar and spells was visible. It froze, and DC’d again, when I came back a 3rd time everything was deleted. Hasn’t worked on this character since.
Same here on my Mage.
I’ve Refilled the action bars well over a dozen times just since like 9am est. At this point i’m probably just gonna log off until Blizz gets this fixed because its costing me gold for repairs since it keeps getting me killed, AND sanity because I have to keep re-organizing.
Gonna try one other character and see if it is the same there too.
Do you have another character on your account (different realm) with the same name as the one you’re having trouble with? I have this issue and it’s only affecting my toons with same name on different servers. Maybe I’m just sort of lucky or there is something to that?
I’m also having the same issues, with just one character also. I’ve tried to also turn off all addon’s and then log off and back on and I still have the issue. It’s in the 1st character i have logged onto since the update. However again all the other characters i have that I’ve also log onto and off, and back onto do not have this issue. I don’t think it’s an addon either.
I had the same thing happen on my Main when i logged in… action bars were missing, re-selected them in the options, all spells present, crashed to character select, logged back in to empty action bars… i hope there is a way to restore them cause its going to suck to have to reset everything
I found a solution!!! When you log in, put all your skills on your bars like normal, do /reload, then try to log off and back on, and the skills shouldn’t disappear!!!
Just tried this, it did not work for me. hotbar keybinds keep getting nuked completely.

Tired of having to redo my Action bars because all of my spells get removed for logging out. What the HECK is Blizzard doing? QA? Does it exist? This is really something I would expect from a small INDIE shop. Oh Wait…
I am having the same trouble : settings on my action bars disappear . Happened 3X now within 2 hours.
Same here. This is happening to all toons outside the Warband. This is extremely annoying!
I had the same issue and there’s a way to fix it.
Simply make a new Loadout in your Talent page. Not switch specs from Affliction to Destro for example. Make a new Talent Loadout.
THIS WORKED FOR ME
I was losing my action bar skill layout every time I logged out of my warlock (but none of my other classes).
I created a talent loadout for destruction, switched off default to the new loadout selected, switched to affliction, switched back to destruction, logged out, back in, SKILLS WERE STILL ON THE ACTION BAR !! huzzah
Now I log out and back in a few times because I couldn’t believe my eyes, skills stayed

I had “Default Loadout” for my talents. Created a new one, bam, no more disappearing spells!!!

Thank you, I was about to loose my mind over this. Put a ticket in, was told it was a known issue and a fix is in the works, but did NOT mention any kind of a work around. Amazing, the community knows more about their game then they do!
