All Specs Should Be Able to Use Exotic Beasts!

All hunter specs should be allowed to tame and use exotic beats as their active pet.

However only BM hunters have access to their exotic abilities.

I agree let everyone be able to tame spirit beasts but only BM hunters should be able to use spirit mend.

I disagree.

Though some Exotic Pets like Clefthoof should be made available to all specs as they’re that insane.

Yeah clefthoofs are great. I had a heal hit 105k 3 or 4 in a row on my guy due to Blood of the Rhino in my last pvp bg. Took him from just about dead to full health while being attacked with no problem. That special ability together with thick hide and you just about cant kill them.

They also hold threat way better against multiple mobs on top of having bloodlust.

I don’t want them nerfed. What I want us pet customization back so we aren’t severely gimped for not using the Clefthoof.

I dont think they will be nerfed outside of niche PvP instances (which most hunters prefer a healing reduction pet and Cunning/Tenacity) they have almost no special use in M+ and Raiding.

Also most exotic pet abilities are lackluster. Look at Petopia and all of the exotic beasts and what their exotic ability is. Most are pet self healing, thorns, or reduced physical/magic damage taken.

They should just bring back talent trees for pets - have a Tenacity, Cunning and Ferocity tree and any pet can be specced any way you want and Exotic Beasts tameable but only BM gets the added abilities as well and itd be perfect.

They used to have pet talents and it was fantastic, I never understood why they ditched them.

They ditched them due to PvP.

Please don’t, BM and Survival already share enough abilities, we don’t need to water down BM’s identity any further than we already have.

You have looked over what the Exotic Beats Exotic Abilities are right? Aside from spirit mend there isn’t anything special or useful except for open world content.

I’m just saying all specs can use Exotic Beasts, but only BM hunters can use their exotic abilities, SV and MM those exotic abilities are disabled.
