Increasing the drop rate would significantly impact their revenue from all the loot boxes people buy with wow tokens as well as the timespent metrics they value.
This is why it was a P0 to fix and they won’t be updating the drop rates to something remotely reasonable.
And what’s your point? It was up to the person who obtained the item from the card game what they did with their loot. You’ve missed the point completely though unfortunately
Uhh… No, it won’t? The time investment per Sha kill is infinitesimally small and nobody is physically capable of buying this mount so lootbox stuff is out of the question.
There’s a lot of stuff you could make this argument for, but I don’t think that’s why they’re so hesitant to buff these droprates considering they were VERY open about considering buffing the Love Rocket’s droprate considerably. And anyone can tell you that there’s exactly one obtainable mount that’s harder to get than any of the MoP world boss mounts and that mount is the Love Rocket.
This analogy doesn’t work as well as it initially seems to. Lotteries are pots into which all players put their money.
The mount is an infinite resource reliant entirely on time spent and RNG, and time spent from one player does not affect another player or their potential winning in any way, shape or form.

The time investment per sha kill is up to 20 minutes per alt sitting there afk. The kill is instant but you have to wait.
The sha mount drops from both the BMAH proper (wow tokens help) and the Black Market Container (wow tokens help)
It just means someone went and levelled an Evoker before they patched it, it doesn’t mean they have been farming it for any amount of time. I seen a lot of players level and fly an Evoker out just because of the bug.
I’m not asking for them to be taken away, but I would love to be compensated as well for having missed out. Even went and got a kill in today just because (as if it’ll ever drop anyway). Didn’t even know this was a thing. Boy do I wish I had.
The people who received the mount today, so early, are more often the people who already had a ton of attempts on them. And those people absolutely deserve it.
But an exploit is an exploit. These mounts do need to be taken away.
BUT.
I don’t want to disappoint those people with another few hundreds or thousands attempts with no luck either.
This would be a great time to finally reduce the ridiculous drop chance and respawn timers on these world bosses.
