All settings reset (WoW and addons)

My power went out Thursday night, so essentially I DCd. When I finally got to play again on Friday afternoon, every single setting in WoW and my addons was reset. I opened the launcher and there seemed to be a small patch that downloaded that took a few minutes. When I finally got into the game, everything was reset. And I mean everything. All my addons were set to default. All my WeakAuras were gone. All my keybindings were reset. All the graphic and sound settings were reset. Literally years of tweaking and setting things up the way I like them all gone.

I am frustrated on a whole new level. Did something change with this little patch? A file path or folder name or something? Why do all my addons load, but all their setting are reset? Why is WoW suddenly disabling Aero on Win7?

I’m begging for help on this.

Had the same problem. Too bad people doesn’t seem to care enough about this to answer :l

The power cut means that settings weren’t saved on a standard exit from the program.

You may have a *.old file for each addon on your wtf folder. You can try renaming the current files to .old2 and there .old files to the current extension and see if that works.
