So going forward, Blizzard said they will be bringing all classes to all races, eventually, soon™️
At the same time, people are always demanding new races and tired of “reskins”.
With that in mind, the faction war is all but obsolete. So lets throw them all in a mixer, bake at 375 for an hour and see what we get?
Half breeds. Half Human Half Orc. Theres your Human Shaman. With this, you’ll be needing skeletons so its not a copy paste of a human. So we get new races wirh new skeletons (much like the werebear design for Druids).
So thats 2 out of 3. And being half breeds, and no current ongoing faction war, there can still be anymosity from the Humans of Stormwind for you being part Orc. Of course you can always choose Horde or Alliance and make yourself fit in.
And with faction leaders more than willing to allow them into their horde/alliance they are able to understand their blight of not being wanted or their feelings of unrest and come.togrther to give them an outpost to settle and rebuild (if needed) while creating a third faction that can tie in later into the story somehow.
Wait, we don’t have human shamans? Weird, there’s a lot of them in South America. The only problem is, their heals tend to give you a 8 hour dazed debuff
This is why I wish we could have optional recolors of some abilities to better suit the lore/fantasy of certain race/class combinations. What gets me is we have the system to do it right there in Glyphs but Blizzard won’t use it
Your crossbreeding idea is weird, but I think it would be cool to have a defector questline where you could have a character change factions, like Orc defecting to the alliance or whatever. Something long and arduous, similar to the Insane in the Membrane achievement so it wouldn’t be commonplace.
I’ve mostly gotten what I want in game when Warlocks for all came last year, I mean I can play any and all races except Dracthyr as a Warlock and the only two races I really want in game still is Saberon and San’layn and San’layn could be covered by customizations for Blood Elves so yeah.
As for the whole ‘lore’…All ‘lore’ is pretty much whatever Blizz pulls outta it’s backside…They could write up a case where Forsaken are the True Druids of Azeroth - the Forsaken arose from the earth - therefore they are the Earth Mothers or whatever nonsense.

As long as I get night elf paladins I’ll be happy. My Draenei pally has been waiting for a race change, especially after Legion gave me hope with Delas Moonfang.
Agreed. Which is why i said lore aside. But some things just have to make sense. Common sense has to play a part too.
So it doesnt have to be EVERY race is able to blend with every other race. That would be way too much work and quite frankly an unreasonable request.
More of a blend to allow all races to be all classes. Is there anything a Worgen can be that a Tauren cannot? Or vice versa?
