I did the quest chain for the River Rapids Wrangler, the achievement popped up in chat, even got grats on it so I know it wasn’t just me. I thought nothing of it, but watched a video and found out I should have got a little boat as a reward so checked my achievements and it wasn’t there. Double checked the quest chain and they are done. Tried doing the boat again to catch fish and no counter showed up so can’t do that. I opened a ticked because they used to be able to check this stuff out but they said to report it as a bug so here I am. No achievement, done quests.

I am having this same problem. I did the WQ and then went back to try the achievement and no counter is showing up. I restarted my game too, no change. I’ve tried like 6 times and still no counter.
So… i guess since this thread went nowhere and there doesn’t seem to be any other such reports that i can find, no boat for me. 
Edit: I did this again on another character and paid attention this time. The counter ONLY works until i go over the first set of falls, then no counter. After the first time, there’s no counter at all.
I can’t find ANY mention of this bug anywhere.
