ehh i meant separate sets… So all honor gear same ilvl, and all conquest gear same ilvl. No upgrades for either…

I kinda like gearing how it is at the moment, only thing I don’t like is how slow they do any tuning and how daunting it is to gear alts. To appease those who aren’t a fan of upgrades locked behind rating, maybe Blizz should make upgrades for rings/necks/trinks and/or boots/bracers/belt locked behind ‘Games Won’ so there is some way to shrink the ilvl disparity
I think the current gearing system missed the mark pretty hard. Rating locking gear is and always will be awful. WoD gearing or bust, this system is actually bad.

Nah i just wanted vendors like in cata-mop-wod where u know, farm your honor set then ur ready to arena n get the conq set n be on equal playing field. Not buy this piece dump 8k honor into then replace it with conq gear upgrade it 5 times with like 20k honor a piece etc… i just wanna get my conq set n pvp. Boring when u still cant do damage cuz ppl have 10k hp more
Ya no one asked for rating requirements behind gear. Elite sets, weapon enchants, mogs, mounts, and titles are fine to lock behind rating but just give people an equal playing field so we can PvP in peace
I really am not optimistic they’ll make changes at this point. Blizzard usually waits until the next expansion before they do changes like that
I mean…we just asked for vendors with pvp gear like the good old days. Not 4 tiers of pvp gear with the requirement to farm thousands of honor and rating to use it.

the vendors gave a solid honor set equivalent to normal/heroic raiding in pvp and the conquest vendor gave BIS gear. Yes the best gear you could wear for pvp.
It led to a fair playing field because everyone, yes everyone, had the best BIS pvp gear aside from a very few outlier trinkets or weapons from pve occasionally.
The current vendors give 200 gear and only reward more power by getting more rating. This is literally the exact opposite of fairness.
Nobody is asking for templates. They are asking for scaling like WoD or pvp stats and set bonuses to even out the playing field and to stop rewarding rating with more power.

The old system didnt have a whole gear set unobtainable for tbe majority, it was a few pieces, and everybody was on a more or less equal footing gear wise.

bruh this gearing system makes me depressed.
Blizzard mentioned the point was the move away from this. Like I get their point of view even if the implementation of their loot system wasn’t perfect.
