All of this could have been so easily avoided

I dont necessarily agree with it or the time when they changed but i think it being Normal is net neutral.

Which is fine. LFR is introductory content. Blizzard has done an absolutely terrible job communicating that matchmaking content is exactly that. Introductory content. Get your feet wet. Get some context for the end game content. Aspire to move on to the next difficulty where the real rewards are.

Also, it didn’t get sidelined. It’s gear rewards got an ilvl bump.

Normally I wouldn’t agree with that statement but seeing how this was released, they probably should have just made sure it worked with LFR and bite the bullet. It was there mistake and it had to be pointed out by a player.

And that’s better than side-lining normal… why?

LOL Okay. I mean that’s… a reason, I suppose? Whatever you have to tell yourself. But hey, if that’s how you want to spend your time you do you.

Can you explain how it would be normal left aside if they included LFR?

What’s the point of doing normal at all if it’s available in LFR?

Did you just try and use that “lol you’re playing WoW so you’re a nerd” argument on me? I think you did.

What are you doing here if not the exact same thing I am, exactly? Durp

best gear for progression? play with friends? those who play LFR are not looking for any of those things.

If you were to make LFR give no gear and just give cosmetics and story progression, people would still do it. Blizzard just doesn’t know what to do with its content. But that is not the point, the point is that they lied to the people and the people found out, and now they want a reparation.

What? You’re supposed to be this voice of reason but somehow that’s what you got out of what I said? Yikes.

Reading the complaints about the complaints. Unlike you, I’m doing it by choice and not some contrived reason I have to tell myself to justify it.

I can play with 4 close friends, without so much time commitment, for higher gear and no lockout. Also tank is much more difficult to get in raids than it is dungeons. Don’t make me laugh.

Wait I’m actually laughing. Because people were mad they removed gear from torghast and aren’t doing it because of it.

No, they didn’t.

This is like ordering a hamburger and getting upset because you’re still hungry after eating it.

People were told by their favorite streamers to be mad about something. They came and expressed manufactured outrage on the forums. Now, they’re doing fated normal and these threads are dying off.

Because no one really cares.

You sound like that Karen who tells the police you are their boss because you pay taxes lol…

yes but LFR does give you gear, story progression, and cosmetics. What it doesnt, and shouldnt, give is a reward just because you did it. It takes literally 0 commitment, dedication, and effort. Why in god’s name would you get a trophy at the end? It is a waste of blizzard’s resources

Just as normal, but with the difference that gear doesn’t really matter for players who only do LFR :man_shrugging:

Blizzard could still make up for this by, at the bare minimum, announcing that the final week of S4 when all raids are Fated that you can get Slime Cat through LFR in that week.

I don’t really have a lot of faith that is gonna happen, though.

this is all deliberate.

the buzz on the GD Forum creates a need in the LFR players for the mount and the obvious answer is to buy tokens for carries…

Blizzard makes a ton of money creating false needs in their players and solving them with token sales…

its a business, they’re not our friends and that’s just fine.

caveat emptor.

No, normal is actual introductory raid content. You actually have to get a little bit of gear, set up a team, and learn/execute mechanics

Does it ever get tiresome sitting around being so cynical and inventing conspiracy theories?

No, introductory raid content is the it is the easiest to clean, and thats LFR, you can say that it is more difficult than normal because people do not know a thing, but that is the problem of the people, not the difficulty of the content. As long as TRF exists it will always be the introductory raid content.
