That assumes that groups are willing to take those people in and teach them. And there are a lot of LFR only dps to sort through to fill your spots. Why take 260 ilvl LFR guy over 260 Ilvl guy with at least some normal experiance?
So instead of getting better gear to do legitimate content youd rather do the story mode raid and get mad when the story mode raid isnt rewarding a mount meant to reward players putting effort into the game?

and yet you argue against more people being happy. why is that. I mean I used to do prog raiding in vanilla/wrath, but it becomes a second job to do it right (kinda) I left that behind to play with people I enjoy, yeah I could prolly pug and eventually get in and hold my own in normal (i mean I did them once already, we did prog normal most of this expack and some of it was like stripping flesh from your face because of little things you know what i mean if you been there) wtf does it hurt to give something to them friends that just cant, hell id do it even though sometimes i may have wanted to punt them for all that frustrating ish , just cus they’re my friends, hell I hope you get nice things and I don’t even know you…why choke someone elses joy when you know you’re better at something then they are. It’s not a big ask from the community.

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but there are like five different male dwarf posters on the forums who keep insisting that you have to clear raids all in one sitting and in one group, and it’s very strange.

Cause normal raiding doesnt actually require skill. You dont need to be good at the game. You just need to learn mechanics and not be a 260 toon. Everyone is capable.

Yes, I’ve just been talking about tokens recently because the opportunity presents itself.
There are a host of other topics that aren’t related and I discuss those too.
I’m just making the case that others have brought up too, Blizzard is trying to push token and store sales. It’s a bulk of their revenue right now. Anyone can see this on their quarterly reports where they discuss net bookings are up.

My statement specifically said player without a guild, so those players by default would be excluded from what I’m talking about.

I mean the simple fact that Blizz changed the dinar quest to allow LFR kills to count towards it really shows they want players to at least engage in normal. Do your lfr kills for the first 3 weeks. Then youre guaranteed loot of your choice from the dinars. No reason to say gear is holding you back from normal after that.

Then, community, or discord. Or forums. Or reddit. I dunno. When you only try to pug using a tool that the only thing people can see is your ilvl and experience, of course they’re gonna take the best, especially on opening week when we’re flooded with applications.

yeah you can in a 260 toon, but thats not really the point is it, you can do it, i can do it, but to assume EVERYONE can do it under EVERY curcumstance? having BEEN in the kind of guild we talking about? bruh…
