So I have been a casual player since about mid way through TBC. Real life and all made my old hardocre playing days a non-viable life choice.
PRE-TBC I was a hardcore raider / PVPer.
My guild had Molten Snore, BWL on farm. We were first on Sen'Jin to down Cthulhu. And were getting deep into Naxx.
I did my hunter quest fairly early in the game's life. One of my proudest achievements. So proud that I held onto the bow and staff for years.
Te problem is, NON of my Vanilla achievements are counting. The one I care about most (even most won't remember) is teh Hunter Bow quest for the Rhok'delar. Those dang Demons were on like a 2 day spawn rate. Took me MONTHS in BM gear! BM GEAR! Which I now regret selling off...
Did I lose all my info because I server transferred from Uther? (where I did most of my achievements in Vanilla) Or because after my guild exploded I server transferred again to play with IRL friends?
Obviously I am not the only one. I did a quick server search and couldn't find a similar post so... any help is appreciated! THANK YOU!
Also, Asmongold got me back into WOW. and I tend to agree... progression in the new game is meh, better in vanilla. Game is not as fun or rewarding, which is a shame, because the content is beautiful and the fights seem cool. As an artist / illustrator the game looks BAD-ACE. But fun factor? Well, I'm looking forward to legacy... even though I am a filthy casual now.
I don't know what you're talking about. I see the achievement for Rhok, being exalted with ZG, doing the level 60 version of Onyxia and your Lieutenant Commander title.
What other achievements are you looking for? Maybe you were looking in the wrong place? I see them under Achievements -> Legacy.

I guess I mean all of my raid progression in classic. Which apparently is different than achievements.
I literally did all the classic raids to competition back in the day and none of it counts. Am I missing something? Does it only count now that they track it? I guess I can go solo everything... But still...
And Thanks for your answer and help. Honestly haven't really ever paid attention to the achievements since they introduced them. I've been a filthy casual since midway through TBC.
Why are casuals "filthy"?
Wouldn't it make sense hardcore are filthy, as they don't have the time to take care of personal grooming like a casual?

I do believe the terminology refers to casuals being "garbage" in a general sense of how to play the game well. At least that's my interpretation of it.

Basically. Except I do know how to play, and the game has only gotten easier. But I don't have the time... IT MAKES ME FILTHY!
The only raid achievements I have from Classic are ZG and Onyxia and I was in a guild that took down Rag and Nef too (we werenât cool enough to kill Cthun or Kel :p).
They didn't invent achievements until the very end of BC. The only way they could retro-actively award them for stuff completed before then was if you had "proof", which consisted of a very few things:
- loot from the end boss (and there was no transmog collection, so you had to actually still have the loot physically in your bank or bags)
- a quest completion that required killing the end boss (not all raids had a quest to kill the end boss either)
- a title (this is more for PvP achieves).
Without one of those, had to just go run them one more time. Which is kind of nostalgic fun anyway.

This made me want to check to see when I redid it. 2011. Kind of funny I avoided going back for 6 years.

I'm still avoiding doing it. It was more fun to wipe and fail and try try again then it was to farm MC for 45 minutes to downing rag and doing BWL in under 2 hours. Did. SO. MANY. RUNS. It got SO old, but we had to do it, to help new members get gear for AQ and Naxx.

Except I have had all my tier 2 gear in my bank, still do, had all my naxx gear in there for several expansions and I still have my Rhok, Lok, and ancient sinew quiver (now a 24 slot bag.) So... think if I open a ticket they'll look at that and give me the achievement.
It's just a bummer I don't have the achievement with a pre TBC date cause thats when it would matter. ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ I guess I can do it all over again in Classic...
Achievements are only awarded for end bosses for the old content so most of your tier 2 doesn't matter as it comes from early bosses in BWL.
If you have a T2 helm that is likely why you have Onyxia credit.
You would have to have specifically your class' T2 legs to get Molten Core credit.
You would have to have specifically your class' T2 chest to get Blackwing Lair credit.
There is no achievement for Classic Naxxramas because it was gone before achieves were made, but if there was you would need to have something only Classic Kel'thuzad dropped.
There are no achievements with pre-TBC dates for anybody, btw. The oldest achievement date anybody has is 10/14/08, the first day of achievements. They had no way to backdate them.
