Was just browsing and the website randomly logged me out, I logged back in and I can only access my Classic characters.

Are you referring to “the website” as the forums, or to worldofwarcraft.com?
We are investigating some issues with loading characters for the character list here on the WoW forums, however, we do not have an ETA for a resolution at this time.
In the meantime, you may be able to logout and log back in to refresh your character list here on the forums.
