Good maybe if hunters get too ridiuclous they will get redesigned to be less annoying in BGs and have more counter play. Less of them infesting leveling and max lvl BGs. Supposedly blizzard only balanced around arena so who knows. Balancing ranged physical attacker is always going to be a mess because it’s so unique compared to anything else.
I kinda miss when armor physical damage reduction meant something. Being a shaman with a shield barely makes a difference. I suppose I should be happy with the 33% reduction I get. What’s hpal at, like 36%?
If that were rogues, Blizzard would be swinging the nerf bat so hard and fast it would break the internet.

Watch out assassins. How’d that lock get in there? I think damage in general is overtuned, especially compared to healing. Hunters being ranged shows it more than the subtle rogue or mongo arms warrior. I think if healing was buffed and damge brought in line people wouldn’t die to an execute after 2 abilities and hunters wouldn’t seem as strong.

Pretty much the crux of the issue. Two abilities into kill shot kills a lot of people.
Either you missed my point or I missed yours.
My point being: If rogues were going around 2-shotting people, You would never see a screen shot like that because Blizzard has historically always been quick to nerf rogues. In most cases, they over nerf and never go back readjust.
Idk. Seems like Blizzard has been pretty slow this expansion. Take a look at all the assa rogues in the AWC. They were dominating all the later cups.
Rogues not a good example to use. It’s a hit and run class. Better suited for arena play and BG objectives. Not mid farming like a hunter.
Sub and assassination are both very strong right now and have avoided being nerfed. Everyone is joking about how assassination, in particular, has avoided tuning.
Rogues are not 2-shotting people or 3-shotting or 10-shotting.
My point is when rogues are too strong, Blizzard is really, I mean really quick as in 24-hours quick, to nerf rogues. Not so much with other classes.
Being a strong spec is not quite the same as being crazy stupid OP like hunters are at the moment.
I’m all ears for hunter complaints but don’t go throwing rogues a pity party.

Strong in what context? MM hunters are stronger in team fights. Rogue is stronger in playing objectives and locking people down. Rogue can continue to pump out damage with it’s immunity defensives up. Hunter can’t.
If you are losing a lot of fights 1v1 against MM hunter (or 1v1s, in general) as rogue, you might be doing something wrong.
