This, pay to skip is probably the best way of calling it. I mean you can’t pay to get world first, no matter how much you pay. And winning could be anything, there’s no sign in WoW that says “you’ve won the game!” because that’s not how games like WoW (that go on forever) work.
You can also win by getting 10000 achievement points, or collecting 400 pets. You could probably pay for some carries for some achievements or buy some pets with IRL money → gold → auction house, but you can do it for free too.
