Wow, you are such a hypocrite! Not a month ago you were touting the “new” no loot system. What a you are.
The answer to your question is yes, and Ion says this is fun and rewarding so it is and that’s that period.
I read that interview and it crushed the tiny sliver of hope that still remained within me.
I’m sorry but not everything in the world revolves around me, please stick to the OP instead of derailing it. Thank you.
True, but your BS should be pointed out at every opportunity.
And I think I am helping. I fully sympathize with the OP.
I think you might have me confused with someone else, I have only spoken my truth on these forums.
My god, the lies. lol
You get a thumbs up, but why are you feeding the obvious troll? Since Blizzard refuses to actually do their jobs on these forums, only way to get rid of them is ignore their existence until they get bored and go away.
Would you say the OP is a troll as well?
Not everyone that disagrees with you is a troll.
This game is not what it used to be, and folks are expressing their disinterest. Everyone should have the right to voice an opinion without being labelled something, what’s so wrong with free speech on these forums?
Do you believe every post should be praising WoW?
Ok why you keep pulling the slot machine lever?
100%. Horrible changes. Also why in the heck do I have to run the same dungeon 10 times to get a legendary memory for AN ALT!!! WHY AM I DOING THIS? It’s stupid. I can get that they didn’t want everyone to have every memory in 2 weeks, but this is just ridiculous. I’ve cleared HoA on my mage 10x and can’t get the one and only acceptable fire legendary memory to drop. Stupid.
It’s because they want you to play the gamer longer to pad their time played metrics, they care about that more than subscribers as it brings them the most amount of revenue so quite literally the entire game is designed to artificially gate as much time as possible while providing as little content as possible.
The real question is, “Why are you expecting your alt to get an easier, free ride just because it’s an alt?”
Because this is a videogame and not a job, not everything should feel like a chore when it could just as easily be account bound progress or skippable content.
The way the systems are designed is limiting casual players from progressing past a certain iLevel unless they force themselves to do content that has players who gate keep with high iLevels in PvP case or rIO scores fo PvE.
Lucky 13 for me.
Yep. There is literally zero reason to do more than one M+ a week. Take the gamble on it being an upgrade (it almost never will be), and other than that log off and play a game that actually rewards players for their time.
If you can’t take the time to put into the character, then don’t mess with the character? I’ve played a lot of games in my time and I’ve yet to play one to my recollection that ever gave me an easier time with current content just because it’s an alt and not a main.
If you are going to all the lengths you are mentioning, you’re treating an alt like a main, not an alt.
Who are you to tell people what’s an alt and what’s a main? Some people bounce between classes all the time going though phases of something being a main before moving onto the next class, they pay their subscription just as you so they can do whatever they please with their characters.
I’m glad you found a way to find lucky RNG lootbox style gearing fun, but a majority don’t.
It comes down to playstyle. If you level a character to max like your main. You gear them up like your main. You do the same content as your main. Then you are putting all the effort into it to be main number two. If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and floats like a duck. It’s a duck sir.
I agree it shouldn’t be any easier than it is now, with the exception of the echo’s.
The idiotic way they are distributed, they should become account bound after you farmed, or lucked into it the first time.
