What I want the most is to change the Ascendance shapeshift to an elemental. Why should Resto be the only Shaman spec that doesn’t have a spec-specific elemental? It could have the same abilities as Ascendance does now duplicating all shaman heals, except its “special” ability would be the group wide heal (preferably with a 40-yard range). Shouldn’t be too hard to do, either, just using the resto class mount as a model.

I’ve been saying this for years… Ascendence should be avatars of the Elemental Lords, the whole lore is asking the Elements to gift us power. Why not turn into mini avatars of the Lords who gift as said powers.

As you’ve mentioned perhaps finally a Water Elemental pet that actually heals for a cd for Resto.

Yeah i have a thread about bringing back Glyph of Ascendance, I can use your help there keeping that thread lively.
As for “avatars” of the elemental lords, I don’t really want to deal with the middlemen or any kind of personified elemental lords related to us.
I just want it to be between us (the player model) and the elemental affects on our character.
Just like Kurog Grimtotem, they know what they’re doing, they just don’t want to give that ascendant state to the player character (yet)
I hope we get an upgrade by next Season, it would be perfectly fitting to get ascendant models updated in line with the end of the primalists raid tier.
