All Healers Should have Interrupts

Oh yeah, I get the why. Just a bummer to have skills like that removed. I’m sure everyone who’s played WoW for any decent amount of time knows the feeling, lol. Just gotta find work-arounds sometimes.

While I agree, I think I’ve even said it somewhere here on the forums a while ago. I feel like if everyone can interrupt then Blizz will put in more things that need to be interrupted.

Valid point!

With Hpal utility? No, you absolutely should not get an interrupt. This would also mean giving resto druid even more utility.

However, I’m thinking about this from a pvp perspective mainly.

No, they really dont. Healers already are responsible for healing and doing damage, but you want them to be required for interrupts too?

It’s fine for it to be a niche shaman thing, but no more. For comparison, Blizz already took the dps niche of disc and gave it to 2 other healers. Now healer dps is more required than ever and healers that dont dps well are much worse off than others.

I mean, I don’t think DPS is as expected of healers as people claim, but also, I actually quite like the idea of helping kill things. I also like the thought of being able to interrupt, which is why I asked for it.

Shaman and DK also have ranged kicks, it’s honestly more rare to have a melee one than a ranged.

I’d love to have an interrupt rather than “interrupt that please” “guys please interrupt when the boss casts xxxx” “we are going to be here all day if that heal doesn’t get interrupted”.

Shaman is there for you.

I mean, I do play RSham as well.

Couldnt resto druids interrupt via feral charge or w/e it was called?

Sure it was gated in that it had requirements but thats still an interrupt no?

Because shaman need it in order to be competitive in PvP. They’re the only healer which cannot wall while stunned, or pop any defensive while stunned. They get a kick as compensation for that as a means of being proactive as opposed to reactive.

Edit: I should clarify. MW can’t wall while stunned either, but they have teleport / and cocoon on the shortest CD in the game as compensation as well.

I see, interesting

My issue isn’t so much that my healer does not have an interrupt, but more so that the other people around me are not using theirs as needed :upside_down_face:

Well yes - in a perfect world I wouldn’t mind, because DPS would hit their ints!

This exactly!

Healers with various forms of control might be fine in PvE but in PvP they’d be the pinnacle of frustration to fight against, especially in random BGs where one can’t depend on others to help keep the healer under control.

I made this RSham and the interrupt is one of the many reasons I like her. I think all the other healers should try to copy RSham too! So smart

Assuming they keybind them. I mean, hitting an interrupt reduces the tunneled focus on max dps.
