At this point I have to wonder who this expansion is being designed for. Removing bloat is one thing, but removing interrupts from an entire role is crazy. If their plan is for healers to just turret heal the entire time without adding any other utility they need to come out and say so.

5 sec flicks, 15 sec slaps, 30 sec punches, sound right?
Maybe they’re just whole-hog getting rid of interruptable abilities. Then WoW’s metamorphosis into XIV DDR-style encounters will be complete.
(Still won’t be able to compete with hrothgals tho)

Less utility and mobility than other healers is peak priest class fantasy in Blizzard’s eyes.

I think with the way combat is being redesigned and the way healing add-ons are being removed. I would have to see it for myself, but I like the idea of my healer actually focusing on what needs to be done since there’s no longer an add-on sharing that information. If combat is being redesigned appropriately, there won’t be a need for an extra interrupt or extra DPS.
This is kind and if my view on it too. Sure, I don’t want to say remove healer interrupts, but at the same time we have just come full circle to almost all other expansions.
For solo activities though this change is more than likely not great. Guess we will see the actual impact of all these changes in dungeons.
