Maybe patch at night ?
Instead of patching 9-5pm EST and wrecking someones whole day to play?
Or refund 1/8th of their sub since most adults with jobs only get to play actively on their 8 days off a month

This has happened since the inception of WoW. They literally announced this was gonna be all-day maintenance a few days ago. You’ve had time to prep, bud.

Isn’t 9-5 an average workday? Should be done by the time most people get off work.
Also, what kind of overtime hell are you working to have Tuesday be one of those days off?

Read your TOS. There is no guarantee you will be able to play everyday, and the game is subject to maintenance at any time the game owners wish to.
Night time also seems to be the time most are logging in to play so why would they do maintenance then?

at least its on a monday…probably in anticipation of ppl flooding the servers again for raid/M+

I just wanted to point out that I think it was during Legion servers almost never went down on Tuesdays, they rolled out patches while we played in the background and everything worked out just fine. Not sure why they went back to taking down servers so often… oh well.

Not everyone is lucky enough to get every weekend off, it’s quite the opposite for retail/fast food where we are working almost every weekend and off on usually tuesday/wednesday the slowest of the work days.

In his defense I see why he feels a midnight to 10am server downtime would make more sense, most people are asleep during this time… However one has to realize they work during the day not at night just like us lol
