- Long, multi-step WQs
- WQs spread far apart
- Next to no flightpaths
Bastion sucks. Maldraxxus is wham bam thank you m’am. Revendreth and Ardenweald might be annoying to navigate but once you get there you’re practically done already. But Bastion? The only place that give people complaining about WQs any legitimacy.

Not really, its because they became irrelevant quicker than ever.

I agree that the Bastion ones are bad but “Night in the Woods” in Ardenweald is awful
Edit: O about Bastion WQ is it the case for anyone else where the formation part of the phalynx wq is almost always all messed up? Pelodis will say one formation, the phalynxes will take an incomplete shape of a different formation, and the correct answer is a different formation than both

Nah it’s that all WQs award too little of whatever they’re offering and take ridiculously long.
The effort to reward is extremely bad.

Just one comment from the WoWhead entry: “the most disgusting world quest i’ve ever seen”

I’d just like there to be double the world quests with all new ones as “kill one elite type”

Yeah I hate it there. I don’t even think I’m honoured— man if pathfinder requires exalted with all the factions. Oof. I’ll be a tad screwed.

I only ever do that one on my druid, because you can do it in travel form.
Bastion is eh for world quests , i dont mind them but the "rewards " are pretty laughable . Bastion is nothing compared to Revendreth in my opinion though . I love the scenery, but navigating it sucks

Bfa had better world quests and travel methods. Miss the flight whistle. The fact that the zone shortcuts are covenant specific feels bad.

Bastion isn’t that bad. Also the rotating “Beasts of Bastion” rare spawns trivialize a couple of the Callings to a hilarious degree. You can sit in one spot and get 80% completion of an “Aid Bastion” calling in five minutes. You can do the “Coins of Brokerage” one there in even less time.

Yeah. 140 anima for a quest that might take me up to 15 or 20 mins, including travel time, is almost insulting.

I love the multi parter that ends with an angel grabbing you by the neck to get books from a floating library.
Uhm? Why didn’t you get them your self, you got wings? Why did you need me for this?
One nice thing about bastion though is mostly it’s not endless gauntlets of reds you have to travel through.

I don’t mind that quest. I’ve never been broken out of stealth either. Too much walking but it’s over in like 5 minutes.
It’s not too bad once you know what to do and where to go, it’s the near complete lack of information as to how to do it in the first place. It’s not well explained, and there’s no map icons to guide you to the targets. I have to open wowhead and copy/paste the coordinates of the NPCs.
I shouldn’t need to refer to an external website to figure out how to do a basic activity in the game.
ardenweald has been having hardly any wq’s at all for the past few days so few if it was a daily calling it would be impossible to complete. I remember earlier this week i saw only 1 wq in the zone
It’s true. Bastion is basically a reason why I don’t bother with wqs any more. I know it sounds silly but every time I open the map and think about doing some world quests I see bastion. When I see bastion I close the map, hit escape and click exit game.
Really, the only WQ I like is in Revendreth where you get to disguise yourself as a servant.

Doing the WQ in any area doesn’t bother me a bit. I already consider that I play when I have time to kill so it doesn’t make any difference how long they take or what they reward to me. It’s only a game and I don’t take it seriously enough to let it affect my life out of game.
Zones like Revendreth are why people long for flying. Want people to shut up about flight? Stop making zones that are so annoying to navigate.
