Buh bye then
Its almost like AI generated the post for them without them actually making the changes in it.
And how exactly do we get the citrine from the Earthen event (Shuddering Hollow)? It’s only awarding me crates.
This probably isn’t live yet.
Yeah, they did. Seems like some folks are just too jaded or cynical to thank them for listening. Unlike the Delve rotating stories and months of grinding the achieve, these citrine gems will now all be available right out the gate instead of waiting for the right time to appear via RNG. It is ok to commend them once in awhile without the fear of a Scarlet B around your neck.
Merry Christmas, and THANK YOU from those of us who appreciate the attention to detail on this.
Don’t count your Pepe’s yet, the change still hasn’t gone live.
I’m not too worried.
Ah but you see it’s not good enough that they decided to change it, it should have been perfect from the get go or else they should’ve not bothered to fix it at all
Or something like that
The biggest problem with most people: Their personal perception. Edison did not get the first light bulb right. Ford did not get the first horseless carriage right. The Wright Brothers did not get the first flying machine right. 150 years later, we still have bulbs that break, cars that break, and planes that fall from the sky. Blizz has been at it for 30 years, 1/5 that time, so I’m gonna cut them some slack.
They designed the rotation that has proven more frustrating than anticipated. They knew — or should’ve if they were paying attention — within hours that this needed a remedy. Taking 3 days to say anything is not the action we should be applauding.
It’s great they are changing it, but it should’ve been evident in the design meeting that this type of rotation they wholly control wasn’t going to be received well. This is only the Nth time they do this to poor reception.
Or maybe mistakes just happen. Monday morning Quarterbacking is easy.
I do agree with the sentiment that they absolutely should pay more (much more) attention to PTR feedback
But when they make a good change that deserves recognition. Positive feedback will always be more valuable than people just throwing their hands up and saying “it’s too late you should have gotten it right the first time!”
I’m sure all of those people are perfect, and have never, ever made a mistake.
Could be that I’ve played smaller MMOs but in them sometimes things aren’t fixed for months/years. Unless ofcourse it’s financially costing the company then it’s fixed pronto.
By comparison the reactivity to WoWs feedback is actually very quick.
Agreed. They have a lot of irons in the fire, and sometimes, there will be a small stumble. They are doing their best for a community that burns them in effigy 100 times a day in their own forum.
Sitting here at the vendor waiting for hotfix. WHEN MOON?
Well, Blizz’s work day ends in like an hour at most… so if we don’t get it by then I’m assuming it’s tomorrow, and I don’t think they do weekend hotfixes normally, so we’re probably getting it in <1 hour.
If it’s not within the hour then it’ll probably be at weekly reset

They said this week, though, so that doesn’t make any sense.
