Yes, but the 642 ring you have right now isn’t using double stat gems+Skipper.
Double stat gems+Skipper will absolutely curbstomp every other ring you can currently obtain.

Thank you the time gating things is getting old real fast. Players don’t wanna wait for gear drops or unlocks they should be earnable immediately. The only thing that should ever see time gating is just world events and time effected content. Yall need to fix the freaking gold drop rate still. EVERYTHING at max level should be dropping hundreds of gold not 2 or 3 per 10 enemys killed or nothing in the new island. Incentivising buying wow tokens has gotten old fast and i think will ultimately push players to pass legislation in our areas to combat this behavior.

I’m happy about the changes but every time there is a new system out they always timegate. I get the thought process behind it but its always been too much. you would think that they would learn that majority of players arent fans of timegated content. Lore and story are fine for weekly releases but when it comes to an itme people are looking forward to that should not be gated. gate the mount, gate the lore, gate the story. some arent interested in that but some love it. I play to raid and experience the game like that. I enjoy the gearing process, and having to wait a week for an hour of content to get a gem that MIGHT be decent for my class/spec makes me want to log in tuesday get the gem raid and play something else between those times.
I think they are timegating the hotfix now

It’s really not that difficult to upgrade it every week so theres nothing to complain about. Not having all the gems right away was the problem. The ring is automatically going to replace any 639 ring when we have all those gems so just take the win man.

I’m about 90% sure they won’t do it before letting out for the weekend, and then just go “Eh, it can wait until the weekly reset”.
Imagine being forced to work till late friday to hotfix it, while everyone is like “you’re done yet?”.
the one dev kept in the basement might be really mad rn.
