Any chance we’ll be able to obtain a second ring for hybrid classes? Changing out gemstones will be annoying if we need to do it multiple times a day
The highest stat gem. Then I’d do a quick double check you’re actually getting more stats than you would from a regular ring.
The circlet with all stat gems has 93% of the budget of an equal ilvl ring, minus another 392 for the missing regular sockets. So just do the math on what you would be wearing instead.

I have a hunch the boss is bugged because people are spawning it faster than the cave can close and reset
This has been bugged since the start. It happened when there was only 3 people on the island before the hotfix and still happens now.

Nah I’m wearing one on my resto setup, armory doesn’t show it because I’m in elemental spec when I logged out, but after the hotfix I was on another character and realized it, then swapped over because I didn’t realize they were warbound transferrable and got it on my shaman.

Are we supposed to be able to buy gems we already earned from the vendor to give to alts? I’m not seeing most of gems I’ve already gotten on the turtle npc.
Seems to be a real issue with the objectives for Shuddering Hollow, The Drain and Drowned Lair cancelling mid-fight… so the gems are not obtainable unless you’re ‘lucky’ and get to keep the objective active until the kill.

I know this is the popular theory but I don’t think it’s true. 2 of the 3 times I got a gem off the boss (my first time I got the stupid 2K stats gem even though I already had it) the boss was tanked near the entrance almost the entire time. He even charged half way up the ramp once. I think this bug is just totally random or it has to do with the timing of when the event starts.

Different gems are sold by different vendors, 3 each at 4 vendors. The Tortollan sells the weekly quest gems, the other 3 vendors sell the 3 gems for each of the cave rares

The turtle sells some, the dwarf next to the smithy sells some, acrosss from her is a kultiran that sells some, and directly south of the dwarf is a goblin that sells some

Managed to get one gem. I noticed the boss flashed from rare to just regular elite when I moved in to attack him. He never went back rare and I waited at the entrance after tagging. Not sure what was the winning play here but adding my 2 copper so hopefully someone can figure out the trick.
