All Artisan's Acuity consumed during recraft

I had 400+ Artisan’s Acuity((not sure of the exact number, but was at least 400). I sent a recraft order to my blacksmith alt for a recraft of a 1-handed sword. Recrafts use 20 artisan’s acuity normally. I sent an completed the order successfully, but instead after I retrieved my sword from the mail, I noticed that all of my artisan’s acuity was now missing from my inventory.

Details:
-Recraft was everforged longsword.
-I didn’t provide the Sanctified or Ironclaw alloys, I left that for my BS alt to provide.
-The recrafted item was enchanted.
-The recraft item was using a missive and a sigil.

This is obviously a bug, but are there any ideas about how to get my 400+ artisan’s acuity back? That’s a few weeks worth and I put quite a bit of gold into it as well.

Exact same thing happened to me just now, had 370 acuity, recrafted 3 items, two I did myself and one I submitted to my alt. So it should have cost me 20 for each item. When all was said and done I only have 10 left in my bag so 300 was consumed in error by one of the recrafts

So interestingly, this evening my Acuity has returned to my inventory. I’m not sure if someone at Bliz saw this and intervened? Or some kind of automatic recovery system kicked in.

More likely some kind of display issue that resolved itself after logging out

I thought this at first, but I tried multiple logouts, disabling addons, even attempting to buy something with acuity. Nothing worked.
