All add-ons gone from twitch?

Im confused does this happen every expansion? At first Twitch didn’t see that I had WoW but 45 minutes later it recognized it, now all my add-ons are missing so I cant update them for Shadowlands. Is there something I need to do or is this supposed to happen?

The Twitch app is going to quit working for addons pretty soon anyway since Twitch sold Curse to a different company. Might as well dump it now if it’s having problems.

Oh really? Do you know what I should use for add-ons now?

Twitch is pretty janky yesterday and today. Sometimes it works, sometimes it refreshes, sometimes it spins, sometimes it shows nothing.

One thing to try is that on the right near the top you’ll see a gear icon and a play button next to each other, and a field showing your installation directory next to it. If you have multiple installations click that and make sure it’s looking at the right one. Mine keeps trying to default to my Classic installation and I’ve seen some people say it’s trying to default to PTR or other installations.

Oh thanks that worked, worst timing for twitch to be all janky though. lol

That was in back in June. 4 months ago

Moreover they stated in the announcement that nothing was going to change with downloading addons.

Don’t be chicken little.

“CurseForge will transition out of the Twitch client and into a new dedicated desktop app on Overwolf”

and

“the mod manager will leave the Twitch client and become a dedicated CurseForge app for PC and Mac.”

That’s what they said when the sale was announced. Did they change their minds?

shrug My Twitch app is working just fine. I haven’t had to download any Overwolf stuff.

I think they forgot about disabling the old plugins and old twitch client.

It hasn’t happened yet, but it will.

Recommendation here is to try something like WowUp.io which is dedicated to just the addon updates, etc.

There are others as well.

have fun with wowup while you can

i think its crap but twitch still works

until then you can just wait for overwolf to release their client
