Because oversaturation of information on the Internet has made people gullible and stupid.
Look at current American politics.
Once, somebody finding an āalienā in their woodshed would have been a back interest piece of the local paper. Now itās national news.

Fermi paradox tells us that if we havenāt heard from aliens by now, we never will.
Sorry to break it to you, but either:
a) there is a high frequency extinction event we havenāt met yet, but will, or
b) something is actively stopping us from receiving signals
Neither of which bodes well. Youād better hope there are no aliens.

Iām not talking about the crazy stuff conspiracy theorists put out, Iām talking about the recent release of information from Governments.
Iāve never seen them put out information like this before.
If youāre talking about the one Congress hearing with the wacko air force guy who only had secondhand hearsay, I dunno if that really counts as āinformation from the governmentā.

Iām talking about the video footage released with eyewitness accounts.
One guy was a navy radar tech and estimated speeds that humanity canāt even come close to hitting.
There were even pilots who described the craft as capsule shaped and had maneuverability that would kill a human with the G-forces alone.
Itās worth noting that I had no idea what this thread was even about.

Itās LITERALLY on every single mainstream news outlet.
This is a real thing the Mexican government did.
It was not then and is not now anywhere to be found on the full front pages of either CNN, or more importantly, BBC World News.
So, no, not literally.
