Is there a good leveling guide to follow? I just started cata-classic and wasn’t sure if the old ones (from around 2019) are okay to follow or if there are updated methods.
Cata is completely different from Classic 2019, I think I remember a Cata leveling guide that goes 1-85, the only poop part is how outa place Outland and Northrend feel after doing cata update zones
The best cata leveling guide will point you to play Era instead

Era is the Vanilla version of the game. If you’re looking for help with Cataclysm, try here 
Worth noting though that in any version of the game, you don’t really need a leveling guide. It’s totally possible to just wing it and go where the quests take you 
With that said, any Cata guide is fine to follow (ditto Era) as, for the most part, nothing has really changed. Players may have optimized it some but it should work just fine.

Rested XP are the guides I use for when wanting to level fast, saying that though, after Cata update questing without a guide is a lot easier then pre Cata Azeroth.
