Was doing an Algeth’ar Academy key about ten minutes ago, once we got to Crawth and started killing the birds that spawned, the second round of birds or the basketball hoops just didn’t spawn at all and there was no way to proceed or to spawn the boss afterwards cause the dungeon was bugged out and we were stuck on that platform with no way to go back which killed the key for us.

We couldn’t get out of combat after 5 minutes in the third wave of adds, so we used our hearthstone and came back. However, when we returned, a Territorial Eagle add appeared and we had to kill it before continuing with the boss, but the key was dead by that point.

Happened to us as well, exactly the same scenario. This is a bugged fight.
Not saying it’s the case here, just a possibility. But sometimes a bird spawns way behind the group and isn’t noticed. It will prevent progress in the event.

Same thing just happened to my group. Last set of bird spawned, after killing them we were still in combat and no way to run out or spawn boss. We managed to die/hearth out and run back in and when we got back to the boss there was 1 bird mid-air that we were able to jump up and tag. Killing it spawned boss like normal.
Happened to me again this week. Wonder if it’s something that spiteful is bugging out as I think it was the last spiteful week this also happened.
Happens when “spiteful” affix is up! Ghosts turn party into combat forever and bug boss respawn! Fix it blizzard… why do we pay for this game?!
Been getting this more since 10.0.5, didn’t see it before… up to 5 of the last 7 keys or so
Looks like the january 31 hotfix didnt quite get this one because crawth not spawning just bricked a 19 for me
Happened to me in two different groups between yesterday and today. Had to hearth out, re-summon, and there was an eagle stuck in the air. Spiteful week.

I can’t believe I tried the dungeon 4 times without success to have this bug a day before maintenance. I feel like I’m wasting my time
Just had this issue in a key now. The wind to the boss platform disappeared too, so you can’t even leave. (You get teleported back if you try to jump off.)
C’mon Blizzard! This is a known bug!!! Fix this sh*t! The third time that this happened to me. Are you paying for my consumables and time lost???

Have a ranged hit the bird to the far right as you enter the platform. The Floating platforms around the boss area.
1st and 2nd wave usually hits fine. But the third wave will hang and you will have to stand out on the far edge of the platform where the banner hangs and try to hit one of the birds to pull them down.
Just encountered this bug in an AA11. We were able to kill ourselves with the Thundering affix DOT and once we’d all left combat with the bird it snapped to the central platform and we were able to proceed.
