so ive reached 300skill point cap in fishing and ive got the fancy line on my fishing rod that allows me to add algari anglethread to it which gives a +1 fishing skill.

does that now mean that my fishing skill will be at 301? or is the fishing +1 boost to the line only meant to complement fishing upto 300?

basically what I am asking is: Is it worth seeking more algari anglethread to add +1 skillpoints in fishing to my line, or am i hardcapped at 300 and anglethread wont make a difference at this point?

It gives you up to 100 extra skill on all your toons. If you have 300 skill, you’ll have 400. It’s useful for Azj-Kahet fishing. Look in your journal. It recommends 375 skill and the cap is 300. You’re meant to use the Weaverline.
