I’m calling it here, Alexstraza is gonna go crazy… IF Nozdormu falls to the Infinite.
She already lost two brothers to their own insanities (Malygos killed in the Nexus War, and Neltharion/Deathwing was slain by her and mortal hands), and she lost her sister, Ysera, to the Nightmare.
If the speculation of Nozdormu becoming Moruzond is true for this expansion, then maybe she’ll go insane, perhaps even isolate herself. She’ll be the only original aspect with her siblings gone. Sure newer aspects for the flights like Merithra, Kalecgos, and Wrathion or Sabellian. However, this wouldn’t really change anything as she would’ve had to kill three of her brothers, and lose her sister.
Heck, she may be a final boss if she goes completely mad and starts going on a rampage.
I mean she’s kinda already cuckoo if you notice how “meh whatever” she is about losing eggs nowadays.

Well, she is a prominent female character in WoW so, yeah, probably.

Wow, wow, wow. Are we sure we can’t just have a horde leader go mad?
Or a brand new king of the dragons gets written and he’s been behind everything going back 20 years?

Oh, dang. A hero corrupted, then we fight them. An epic twist to be sure.

Here’s what I think - Calia has really been playing the Horde all this time, her plan is to realize her brother’s vision and conquer Azeroth. Alexstraza tries to stop her but she hits her with this inexplicable RED POWER that turns Alexstraza crazy like Ysera in Legion. Calia now rides Alexstraza into BATTLE and melts Ironforge, yelling out call backs to House of the Dragon while genociding the dwarves.
The Alliance swear revenge against the Horde and decide to conquer Thunder Bluff, but Calia is one step ahead and drops a mana bomb on it while the Alliance are winning! Meanwhile Thrall, Baine and Blood Elf Guy begin A RESISTANCE against Calia by looking at her disapprovingly in a cut scene and saying her actions LACK HONOR.
Then Calia and Alexstraza and the Horde Loyalists must fight off the combined forces of the rest of the Horde along with the rest of the dragonflights (Alliance is there too) and the thrilling conclusion is revealed in a novel sometime in 2024.

I think Wrathion is gonna be the one who ends up holding stuff together with all the flights over time. Calling it now he’s gonna end up as the big go-to Dragon next to Alexstrasza, hell Alextrasza herself may go to him for things.
“Like Auntie Onyxia. Get things done.” - Wrathion

I hope not. getting really cliche and predictable now how Blizzard and Marvel and DC all do their stories. You know who is going to go bad and when. You can even predict EXACTLY what certain characters will say before they say it now in games and in movies.
Not too much original in the fantasy world right now.

Agreed. It’s painfully easy to predict how a story is gonna go and it’s always cliche. I’m just… not even surprised by plot-points that Blizzard writes anymore.
The Ardenweald one, one of the quests in the storyline of the cliche “Student of a Teacher turns bad and now Teacher must face the moral choice of killing their favorite student.” I mean… UGGHHHHH.

Jesus let the poor woman retire in peace
I hope not, I am really tired of that plot hook. We already did it with Ysera, and it sucked. Would rather not do it again to yet ANOTHER beloved character. Hopefully Blizzard doesn’t drop the ball that badly.
The latest picture of her advertising DF reminded me of Sylvanas for some reason.
To be fair to her, that’s a new wound.
The DK’s were wrong to use decay to corrupt dead red dragons lost in the Second War for their mounts.
You DK’s at that time were still under the influence of subjugated Bolvar. Still under the thumb of the Jailer and Kel’thuzad under the illusion of freedom.
Dk’s still haven’t answered for that sin.
i wound not be surprise to see the red flight hit the Acherus
in the middle or ending or df
being mind controlled or lied to. lol
Strong possibility if Blizz is still on their crusade to destroy all their cool characters.
I think Alextrazsa is bound to become undead. Based on very flimsy evidence.
Alextrasa had a limited time mirror dimension Heroes of the Storm skin where she was an undead dragon with blight breath.
What if Nozdormu doesn’t go mad but splits in two, a victim of the same magic Onyxia used against Varian, and the one of weaker will gives into his own madness brought on by the vision of his own demise and becomes Murozond.
Killing Alex? I’m up for it since we’ve killed the heads of the other flights at one point or another. My Alliance DK would love to add more dragons to her mount collection.
