I do not recall ever choosing between the Scryers and Aldor factions in Shattrath City in Outland. However I am unfriendly with Scryers and Neutral with Aldor. The quest that grants you the choice is supposed to make you friendly with your choice and I do not seem to have that quest up. Supposedly I have completed it but have no knowledge of ever doing so. Can we do something to reset this or make it so I can choose the scryers like I wanted to?

if the quest isn’t available, then you’ve completed it.
quests can’t be reset.
if you want to change factions, you’ll have to do it the old fashioned way via quests and hand-ins.

Do you have an addon that auto-completes quest? If so, it automatically chooses Aldor, so you probably didn’t even realize you turned it in.
