Despite saying “You still have unlearned recipes” in the recipe information.
Probably for 4 daily cooldowns in a row on Meticulous Experimentation, and probably - at least - 20 casts of Wild Experimentation, and… nothing. Absolutely nothing to show for all those casts and wasted herbs. Tens of thousands of gold down the drain.
Bugged? You tell me, that’s why I’m posting on the forums. Other alchemists experience this? Or am I simply incredibly incredibly unlucky, rolling 25+ tails in a row?
Are you using herbs that are contained in the recipes you are trying to learn? It only rewards patterns for the associated destroyed herbs.
Just tried it an herb that I have literally never used in experimentation before - Lure Drop. It did not give a new recipe. There’s plenty of luredrop recipes I don’t know yet.
I believe so. I just scrolled down the list of unlearned recipes and there’s still 3 recipes containing Mycobloom that I don’t know yet. Mycobloom still says there’s still recipes to learn from it in the experimentation recipe pages.

i thought meticulous was supposed to guarantee, and i’ve never not had it give me a recipe. But looking at the spell tooltip in wowhead it is “chance”
that and go in group and convert to raid when that orphan world quest comes up so it dont complete and you can endlessly run around slapping the living crap out of them.
I’m not even getting blown up when it fails. I just get a single random potion from doing it. No explosion, no debuff. Nothing.
It’s freaking bugged lol.
I just got a “no more recipes” with Mycobloom, on my Meticulous. I used an Orbind, and got a recipe. Mycobloom is generally the one I use for Wild as well, so I am assuming though, that now I need to move on to a different herb for Wild as well…
I usually get a new recipe learned with meticulous, but not every time. I have never learned one with wild, and am wondering if it is worth the effort, hence why I’m here. It does seem bugged or they are maybe being very stingy with the recipe discoveries this expansion.
