Happened twice now this week, used Sky Crystal on a non-bugged perfectly spawned Alani and she aggro’d me for a split second and then kept flying and lost aggro somehow and is unattackable, I have never seen a bug go this long without being fixed, sure the Game Masters are usually helpful at giving your crystal back but why is this issue even present 7 years later?.. Basically you lose your crystal and don’t get the mount when this happens, you have to contact a Game Master, I know this bug is already aware but I thought I’d spread it even more since a GM said the more reports the higher the priority.

It’s due to the fact that they recently implemented the orange name plates. Anything with an orange name plate is unattackable. Typically back in the day she would stay red attackable. But after this update to the nameplates once she loses aggro you can’t get it back because she goes back to an orange name plate. All it would take is for blizzard to return her to being a red nameplate npc. But for now we wallow in self pitty asking a gm to restore our crystals. I just ten minutes ago had the bug happen. Pretty annoying if I do say myself.
