The best thing here would have been to sell real life sculpted models on the shop instead of mounts.

Yes but now the unequal arm thickness of all wyverns isn’t an issue because this one is made of stone. We’ll just sculpt away the larger one! 
That would be cool. I’d buy a wyvern or gryphon statue

They were fine as a 15th anniversary in game bundle… but if blizz cant be stuffed making more of that sweet sweet ragnaros statue why would we buy the “filler” stuff?

It’s the 15th anniversary of Vanilla WoW. The mounts are a play on that nickname. They’re not supposed to have color… they’re supposed to be vanilla.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the color of the mounts… is the color of alabaster. You might argue that it’s lacking creativity, but they are the correct color for what they are intended to be.
Now, if you could spray paint them, like the other two that have “plain” color schemes to start, that would be creative.

You can see that the textures are actually very good, with the mounts having cracks in them, which clearly shows that they’re made from stone.

I understand why they look like they do, alabaster and all, but man they are boring and unimaginative in my opinion. Usually Blizz does a very good job with the looks of their mounts but they dropped the ball on these.
