So recently in a dungeon the other night a character who was in my instance group was saying “Aimbot Activated” or something like that does anyone know what this is? Is it an addon?
What is this, Counter Strike? Never heard of a WoW Aimbot, and not sure why you would need one.

Sounds like a simple /say macro. Don’t overthink it.

They probably had a macro set up to say a line with one of their cooldowns. We’re playing a game where accuracy is determined entirely by dice rolls, and successful hits automatically home in on the target.

Some addons will make your character say things, but yeah I think it is probably a macro like others said.
Like those DK ones people had that would yell “get over here!” when they use Death Grip or the Metamorphosis Warlock “You are not prepared!” macros. Those always made me chuckle.
That Addon is literally called “Get Over Here!”

I can’t imagine the use of an aimbot in this game, it was probably a MM hunter who /say macro’d that to Trueshot Aura
