Weekly quest requires using a Zskera Vault key.
Used to be able to just enter the vaults and it would register as done.
That’s not working this morning. Maybe because of an update?
Forbidden reach is almost empty of players, there are no groups to do rares.
What’s the easiest way to do the vault key part of this quest?
Buy the keys for 50 supplies from the Dragonscale Expedition vendor in Morqut Village.

Yeah you only have to open up one door inside the vault to complete that now.
Is there any sort of cap on how many times a week you could do this? Holy crap I could finally knock those crappy weeklies out and stuff
Pretty sure the only “cap” is how many Dragon Isles supplies you have. I buy 30 keys at a time on my alts, since I never know if the week’s vault is going to be 28 doors, 30 doors, have a quest inside for extra keys, etc.
Could someone who hasn’t started earning any rep yet try dropping the weekly and picking it up again to test if they’ve changed the quest to just 3000 rep?
( I ask because I noticed an alt who just picked up the quest doesn’t have the vault requirement )

This happened to me last night.
I think it may be tied to reputation. That toon doesn’t have enough rep to be given the Forbidden Reach quest, even though i am sure I flew her there.
Surprised me as the previous toon a few minutes before got the vault.
Just a guess in my part.
Depending on the additional requirement for the weekly quest, non-max level characters won’t see it if it requires max-level character. Zskera Vaults is max-level content, so lower level alts won’t see or need to do this additional requirement, just the rep.
This happened on three of my characters, but the other three are not maxed on reputation and they had to actually go in and open a door with a key.
It has been 3000 rep for a while now. I believe the suffusion camp gives 1000 of that as well.
I mean 3000 rep as opposed to 3000 rep + open doors in zskera vaults.
(I’m getting different weekly quests for different alts - I managed to disprove my theory above that perhaps the quest had been universally hotfixed, also the renown threshold theory and few others … there are more things I could check but I’m basically at the “ok, I give up, the game’s just being strange” stage)
You only have to open one door at the Vault…unless you haven’t done the vault yet then you can open as many as you want…but the weekly only requires 1 door to be open to complete it.
