What if they made raids with AI? The longer the raids runs, the harder it becomes. The bosses learn strategies and then crushes your raid team.
It could be interesting as a raid. Participants get the occasional trophies for trying.

You’re gonna need to be more specific.
They don’t even need AI, that’s just the average Rogue-Like formula.
Only if it replicates the authentic experience by arguing with itself over loot distribution, linking meters in chat to brag or call out others and initiating vote kicks for various reasons.
If they train bosses on AI it will just push the AI to use more brutal attacks more frequently until it becomes impossible. It’s not like training a driving AI to drive through a course - the parameters for a raid boss are simply not appropriate for AI training. It just wouldn’t work.
Edit: MAYBE they could train AI for a PvP type encounter like Champions in Trial of the Crusader, but historically PvE players have strongly disliked PvP style boss encounters.
Embrace the chaos.
Things like closing up weak windows. Or abilities that target healers specifically. A mix up of sorts. New patterns for soak mechanics. Use your imagination.
yrel as raid bvoss for every boss.
Instructions unclear, died to new boss mechanic called pwnGPT.
Seriously tho, if a raid is taking too long, that’s usually a good sign that the players already are not capable of accomplishing it. Shouldn’t this be, if the raid ISN’T taking long enough…?
Participation trophies? They already get stuff for trying. It’s called loot from the bosses they were able to kill. And the loot from the dungeons before that.
It’s just a side game mode not meant for normal progression.
You want the Omnidroid? This is how you get the Omnidroid.
Just make mraiding time limited like mythic + dungeons, it would be sufficient, mythic raiders have it too easy.
I would love to see more mobs using the AI they made for island expeditions. Spruce up a few assassin world quests.
AI is too stupid to come up with mechanics. It’ll park a mob out of LOS casting an interrupt-or-die ability. Because AI doesn’t understand anything, it can only regurgitate.
Honestly it makes me think techbros secretly hate AI and want it to crash with how often they try to set it up for grand failure.
Raid bosses can already largely defeat players with just 1 simple thing…disable our UI’s and especially addons. If you can’t see information, you very quickly will see people dropping like flies.
Or you can also have bosses able to track and use our information against us as well as ignore threat tables. Oh you detect that mage that just took an attack is low? Good time to use a tankbuster on them. Or it popped ice block? No matter that healer finger pecking their heal spell while thinking that’s going above and beyond for effort can take the dirt nap instead. That tank pressed taunt? Nah I have sentience now and thus choose to not be affected by your idle goadings.
You appear to be talking about a procdedually generated raid. They have toyed with the tech needed before in Torgast, and the elusive nightmare quest… but I am not sure WoW is suited to it 100%. WoW is more the sort of game where things are fairly rigid and you just work to get better at the content.
Players who focus on 5 man content call out Mythic Raiders now? I’ve certainly entered a strange timeline.
The problem with AI is if it’s too perfect then nobody beats it and if it’s not then there are many ways to abuse it see the last time they used it for something like the island expeditions bots or faction champions.
Doing heavy scripted fight is the best way to give you a good feeling about the game, a bit the same like professional wrestling the outcome is already determined but you gotta make it convincing.
Ah’ll bee bah’k
A raid boss could just tunnel healers and it’s GG. No idea what you pictured in your head, but it isn’t as cool as it sounds.
Ok, but only in LFR raids.
Reason - absolute hilarity
