AI Battleground is a mistake

Again. Is it hurting you? Should I quit playing this game because I don’t to play like you do? I pay money just like you. Are you going to start telling me how to play. Should I just send you my money and you pick the games I play?

I want a solo Battleground, for marks of honor/pvp ensemble sets, with the other team AND the rest of my team being AI.

That would be fun, without any anxiety!

I want my team to also say realistic things, even though they are AI:

“Kypookins, are you AFK?”

“I’m guarding this area, did you guys report me as AFK?”

“Noobs, we are turtling!”

There is no tutorial component to Comp Stomp. It’s just a version of Arathi Basin that has an “enemy team” of bots that are programmed to behave in certain ways. If you do it every day on multiple characters during the event, you can see how the bots’ programming is being tweaked to make them behave more like players.

People who kept saying, “They’re just bots” instead of learning how the enemy team responds and countering that made it more work.

I think having a tutorial version of battlegrounds would be great, though.

Whenever someone leaves a BG, they should be replaced with a bot, but make the bots better so it isn’t more faceroll. I hate joining losing teams.

This thread is like 8 months old…

I’m like 8 months old… what’s your point?

Is that a serious consideration? How would that work exactly?

Its alright for the something different event but probably wouldn’t be a good idea to make it a permanent BG.

I see someone decided to roll Necrolords Covenant for the Forumlands expansion.

I personally don’t think that is really doable.

Maybe state stuff like this is the goal kind of tutorial, but honestly as new abilities and stuff are integrated in the game new strategies come up.

Example full teams of tanks are pretty op in low level rated bgs.

The strat is to enrage the opposing team into quitting.

To do this all party in team are tanks with the azerite ability that let’s you do a huge burst of aoe damage every 3 minutes or so.

Then find the team fight in the match. Use a Dk to mass grip everyone. Time everyone’s explosion to go off at once and the result is you have one shot the entire team.

Every three minutes repeat.

This will not be a thing post BFA unless there’s a covenant ability.

I’m just thinking it’d be a waist of time to write tutorials when how to play the game changes constantly.

Part of the “fun” in pvp is discovering new starts by seeing how other players play the game or coming up with something yourself.

Wait theres no way this is actually happening… right? They must have see how horrible PvE warfronts are…
