If I use a program like AHK to send only 1 keypress to ONLY 1 client, is that still bannable? Ex: I press ‘1’ it uses spell 1 on account 1 ONLY, I press ‘2’ it uses spell 2 on account 2 ONLY, etc…
I used to multibox way back in the day, now I just wanna be able to level mine and my wife’s shamans while she’s at work without tabbing back and forth constantly.
Thank you,

Hey!
That would likely trigger an auto-detect ban. As far as I am aware, the only safe way to mutli-box is to manually alt-tab through the clients to play each as the main window.
Thanks for the reply. I was afraid something like that would happen, it’s annoying to tab over to her account or lean over to her computer and make her toon do stuff while i’m getting rekt by too many mobs lol.
5 keyboards + hot-glued popsicle sticks or get out!

At lower levels in HC I used to see a lot of warrior + priest duos that seemed to be multiboxing. Not sure how they were doing it, but I doubt they were alt tabbing constantly. Haven’t seen that at higher levels yet though.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah i’ve seen a lot of people that i’m certain are multiboxing but i’m not sure if they’re just being crazy and using bannable software or tabbing around and use AA and casting instants on CD or what. I’m hoping, tho unlikely, to get a blue to respond with a concrete answer. It would technically be 1 key, 1 action, so I personally see it as within the ToS but i’d rather not get mine, or worse my wife’s, account banned lol
