Finally, I can fly in the Dragon Isles without being chained to a stupid mini-game. It’s rather soothing.
Maybe now, I’ll feel like leveling some of the alts I’ve had parked at the inn in Wingrest Embassy.

It’s so much slower…. Why anyone would want classic flying beats me. Maybe if you wanna AFK every 10 seconds or something.

Only took them a year+ to add normal flying having both sides be happy. Hate when blizzard does arbitrary gatekeeping.

As much as I played the content with my main, to not have the requirements tells me its more than it should be given we got DRing for free in an hour of release

That i never understood why the afk problem does it stop you from doing anything . “Great we might as well log off the someone afk on there flying mount” .

Feels wonderful to just fly around again. Can use the mount I want. Can fly precisely without a large turning radius. Glad I can just enjoy the world again. I missed this a lot.

does it take forever to fly to your destination?
The new zone is actually on the smaller side compared to the other gigantic DF zones, I find the “slower” (but real) flying mounts actually make good daily-drivers in there since you don’t need “gigaspeed” for a small zone like this
As soon as I found out you can fly in the new zone I’ve just been using my slower flying mount when questing thru the campaign
Ah, it feels so good to do all my flying with one hand (on the mouse) again - no more pesky “minigame” to do

Do you have to unlock faction? I just flew around collected gylphs and discovered map
There is one thing to having slow flying there is flying npc that you have to follow that flys slow without slow flight you’ll never be able to stay with the npc your lose it…and lose treasure it gives you.
