There never is for the FIRST raid. It’s always the LAST raid of the expansion.
ETA: Not for AOTC anyway. There’s a Mythic mount. Not a Heroic one.

There is a reward: you get a free omnitoken if you also get Season Master at the time (of which AOTC is one of the possible requirements).

See last expansion, Rasz had no AotC mount, neither did Sark.
The omni token is still there though.

But that includes all difficulties.
We saw one on normal.
I had no idea it it was only last raid of expansion
